Okay.. For those getting married in the summer (or spring, or well, early fall). Are you wearing open or closed toe shoes. I guess the biggest question is...
Which one will be more comfortable?

I always wear open toes for wedding regardless of the time of year. It's really your preference.

I am all about the open toe, but I prefer to wear stockings, just so I can keep everything in place. lol. I think you can only wear stockings with closed toe. Stockings and open toe shoes are a major fashion faux pas.

im wearing open for april
and id probably wear open no matter what the season- i love open toed shoes and showing off a pretty pedicure
also i cant help thinknig closed toed shoes may show dirty faster

I think it depends in general what you are usually comfortable in. I am personally comfortable in a closed toe shoe & and am probably wearing pantyhose or thigh highs. I really was not able to make a descision until I tried on all different types of shoes and realized the ones I felt the most secure & comfortable in were closed toe.

I think is is personal preference and the type of dress you are wearing......
I am wearing closed toe..I think with my dress, closed, pointy shoe will look much more elegant than an open shoe.......

Open, and I'm wearing stockings too!!!!!  I know, I know, but I just don't care!! Seriously my feet will be under my dress and no one is even going to see them. I just feel more comfortable that way, and it's my wedding day so I'm doing what makes me happy. The fashion police aren't invited!!

My bridal attendant who helped me with my Eve of Milady dress suggested that I wear closed toe shoes with my dress. She says it gives it a more classy look since my dress is fancy. So I will be wearing closed-toe shoes in July.

I'm wearing close toe shoes for my wedding..only b/c I'm OCD about the "great debate" and feel that when wearing a LONG dress, you should wear close-toe shoes, but when wearing a SHORT dress, you should wear open-toed shoes.
However, if it's in the SPRING/SUMMER - open, otherwise - close.

I'm all for the open toe esp in the warmer months...although I'll probably wear open toe at my wedding in Nov...I hate the thought of stockings...so if you're planning on wearing them no open toe shoes...major fashion no no
