China Sale

I just got home from the Lenox store in Southampton which is going out of business and my mom bought me a complete set (12 place settings) of fine china for about $400!!! They have a bunch of the Lenox settings still available such as the Opal and Pearl Innocence which I know are popular patterns. Also they had a bunch of the popular cake toppers for 60-70% off and the serving sets too. Just wanted to share the sale with you girls- I just saved my mom close to $1000 for my china.

Well I guess it is an outlet, but it's right on Main street and the stuff looked fine to me. We inspected each piece and there was only one that I had to switch out.

that is a fabulous deal!!!!!! congrats on the awesome find!

DH and I bought all of our fine china from the Noritake store in Riverhead right before they closed. we got over $1,200 worth of china for $250! 8 place settings (with 5 pieces in each setting), 1 oval platter, 1 round platter, a covered vegetable bowl, a gravy boat and a few other pieces I can't remember.

I just bought 2 more place settings online a few hours ago and they were on sale

I think by the end of the month. Southampton is pretty far out, I would say 1 1/2 hours from brooklyn so if you are going to make the trip I would call ahead to see if they have anything you are looking for in particular. Their stock was getting pretty low today.

Hi all- I just got home from southampton. Great sales, all I can say is don't make a long trip to go there is not much there. Also, most of their china is stuff that has been discontinued and they don't have complete 12 person sets. Thirdly, it is second quality so you have to check each piece. I found more damaged than not. Oh well, it was worth a shot.
