Sort of wedding related-Weight Watchers
I know some of you ladies went on Weight Watchers and as a matter of fact our own Hollie lost a lot of weight on this program, sooooooo my company is sponsoring the meetings starting next week and I decided to join, in ADDITION to start going to the gym. So my goal ladies is 35-40 lbs! Yes 35-40 lbs! its either now or never!
My question to those that went throught this program is what should I expect? Do I have to buy special food etc? Please advise!
Thank you so much!

Re: Sort of wedding related-Weight Watchers
You really don't have to buy anything...its a good idea to buy a food diary and the books with the points but you don't have to AND you definetely do not have to buy food from them. You can buy WW Smart Ones in the Supermarket if you want but you don't have to use them with the program...
Basically every food has a point value and you are given a daily allotment of points..if you stay within the points range you will lose weight!

Good luck!
You don't have to buy anything special but, you will find some helpful recommendations on low point meals and snacks by going to the meetings.
I did the in office program and loved it, I lost about 40lbs. It's nice because I find the greatest amount of temptation in the office so there are people there to get through it with you!

Re: Sort of wedding related-Weight Watchers
I've had a lot of success with WW as well. It's not like other programs where you have to buy their food. WW basically assigns a point to every food (yes, everything) and you just need to stick within your points range for the day/week. They also introuduced a 2nd program called "core" which some people like more - less "point counting" and weighing and measuring, but you need more self discipline.
I'm with the ladies - go to the meetings, and buy the dining out book - that gives you points for meals for some of the most common food chains.

Re: Sort of wedding related-Weight Watchers
Good Luck! I lost 20 lbs. I found it easy, and satisfying. Just stay within your points range and losing the weight will be easy. You also gain extra points for exercise! I actually just got my Fh to do it also.
In the beginning I bought the weight watcher smart ones. i thought it helped to get started. You can get them at any supermarket. Stop and Shop has weight watcher breads too.
