NWR - Christmas Vent
I am going to kill someone. My family decided at Thanksgiving we weren't buying gifts for the adults, only the new baby (6 months old). Great, fine, wonderful - with the wedding I have no money anyway.
Well, my mother just told me 5 minutes ago, that my sister (the mother of said baby) bought everyone presents, and my SIL decided she was ignoring the rule as well. So now, I have 48 hours to get x-mas presents. 
My family really sux sometimes!!!

If you decided not to buy for adults - its her perogative - you dont have to reciprocate - we made that rule too - one year I had some extra money and bought gifts for adult family - but didn't expect gifts back...

I say there is no reason for you to have to buy presents for everyone. Why give yourself added stress and expense just because she decided to break the rules.
