The OFFICIAL - An '06 Bride Did Something Nice Thread

In light of the drama running rampant, I have created this thread.

This is the OFFICIAL An '06 Bride Did Something Nice For Me, and I Want to Share Thread.

Please post something nice a fellow '06 (or '05, or '07) bride did for you - whether it was answer a question, bump a thread, do a monogram, FM you with contact information for a vendor etc.

DO NOT post anything negative.

I'll start in no particular order, here are just a few of the nice things that my fellow 06'ers have done:

Miss Qiana:

Found these earrings which FH said he would get me for x-mas, to wear on my wedding day. AND then patiently FM and emailed me so I could properly get the link.


craigshunny:

My hall twin. Did the driving to the GTG at Jillians.

BKtoLI:

Hosted a Halloween Party in her home. There is an official opening on the Tuesday night 9-ball team. New season starts late January!

Always speaking her mind, never afraid to give her opinion. Made monograms - I'm only posting a few.





A lot of you will now have to forgive me for not remembering, but there are quite a number of ladies who have sent me a FM in response to a question, or have taken the time out to say "thank you" for something I have done. That also needs to be acknowledged. So, to esb980, ssdbk, suven, CaMacho, NPTBride, Goldi1021, seta, and all the others . . . .

I have too many brides that have helped me on here!!

So for everyone, just a great big hug!!

A few honorable mentions:

Sasha, who has helped me and others enormously. One of the few brides who is my reception room twin, and thanks to you I no longer stress about second guessing my hall.

Leslie, what can I say that hasn't been said? I learn from you all the time and continue to do so. You are strong & independent, but still all woman. You are inviting us on one of the greatest days of your life, and I am honored. Ed is very lucky!! That and you are always cracking me up!!

Jaime, my neighbor, future walking buddy and a very funny woman for rocking on

Christine, my date triplet, whose wedding I will be crashing after mine!! One cool chick, even with all of the drama. One of the people who gets me and is also all about going the budget route!! Your ideas and knowledge are far reaching. And a funny bone helps!!

Theresa who has become a great friend. You were there to help me when I needed it. You helped me find my wedding band, and one hell of a shopping partner!! Looking forward to a lot more days!!

Darlene who will soon be my pool playing buddy (when I get my butt out to play). One smart and tough cookie, who pulls no punches.

Hollie for being extremely sweet and always enthusiastic and supportive. You inspire me every day to be a better person. John is blessed to have you.

Jen for having the LIW mascot!! And for having a love of animals!!

Oakslady for recommending a seamstress and helped with advice when I wanted to burn down my dress shop!

Bonnie for marching to the beat of her own drum. You wear that leather dress, and you wear it proudly woman!!!

All the Cindys ( Cindy and Kevin, SweetCin704, CMaestro) for rocking on

Kerie, my original walking buddy & neighbor, and always an all around great person!

Aida, my date triplet, Mexico can't handle me, you & Christine!

Mel for helping with the interfaith marriage and keeping me occupied on the late nights!!

Prncssrachel, who without her, I would not have my amazing photographer

Lisa and Jessica, 2 level headed women who turned me on to my florist

Cara, who was probably the first person I met on here and my DJ twin!!

All of my Commack / Smithtown girls!!

All of my Brooklyn girls who can understand why I miss being there!

All of my weekend twin girls who are starting to freak out as much as I am!

And many others who I am not thinking of at the moment!!

I was very upset that I wasn't able to go to Albany to see Bon Jovi b/c I have a broken arm Thank you to Goldi1021 for getting me a T-shirt at the Bon Jovi Concert!!!! You made my year!! Great things happen to such nice people!

There are so many girls who have helped me please forgive me if I leave anyone off the list:

so many of you have extended me such kindness and assistance...

first and foremost, the outpouring of love and support I received from you all after the passing of my grandfather. It's especially painful at this time of year (he dressed as Santa EVERY year) but knowing I have you wonderful women to lean on is a blessing I never expected to receive, so thank you.

ChristineAEV: for coming with me on my disastrous hair trial, offering to assist me with just about EVERYTHING, making my monograms, and being an all around great friend

miss_qiana- for being the greatest jewelry finder that ever was, having a fab non diamond e-ring, having WAY too much in common with me, and being an all around great friend

hmpena: for always being there with a kind and sincere ear, for inviting me into your home and your life, for pigging out with me at the FH showcase, and being an all around great friend

Leese: for being my crazed "theme-inspired" twin sister. you always "get" what I am trying to do, and for always having a cool head.

for all of my WM girls (Sylvia, Lauren, Sarah, Sabrina, Bonnie-Jean and all of you) for your great ideas and great taste!
