I bought a special adhesive to glue stones onto my sample clothing. If I can remember, I'll look up the name of the glue for you. You can by it in the garment district in NYC for about $7 retail. You can wash your clothes and the stones will stay. You need to be very careful using the glue because it can stick to your fingers and if you accidentally drip it on the fabric, you might not be able to get it off. Also, in the garment district you can buy over the counter crystal designs or custom designed crystals that are backed onto a special paper that you can iron on permanently to the item. This actully works really well and is permanent. You need a very powerful steam iron for this. All these are permanent and if you mess up I'm not sure if you can undo it.
