Best holiday gift you've ever received
What is the best holiday gift you've ever received from anyone? One year a student in my class gave me a gift certificate for a 1 hour massage. It was heaven!

are you talking about Chritsmas/holiday gifts?
the best gift I ever got was my engagement ring. not because of how much it costs or how blingy it is  but because it meant that he was going to be my husband. and that is the best gift of all!

oh ok!
the best holiday gift I ever received was a gold Byzantine bracelet that I had been wanting for a long time! my parents gave it me several years ago. but I will never forget that I gasped when I opened the box 
is it bad that my favorite holiday gift is not from my DH?

Honestly...anything I receive from my Niece & Nephew.
The one I remember the most is a little NY Yankees backpack that my Nephew had for Kindergarten. I LOVED it! I couldn't find one like it anywhere. He knew how much I loved it...and despite the fact he loved it so much...he asked his Mom if he could give it to me.

That's so sweet!!!
My best gift is my e-ring that I received last Christmas! 
Before that, I have received jewelry from my mom that has been handed down from her mom, etc. It's very unique and I always get compliments on it

Well besides my e ring,
I would have to say the platinum xo set my husband gave me last year.. so sweet..
W/ out being a holiday gift I would also have to say my niece by marriage gave us a wedding poem she made at our rehersal.. so sweet..

Well....Christmas Eve is my birthday so I've had some pretty good years.
The holiday present that really sticks out in my mind as being great is from my husband--the first year we were dating he bought me these beautiful boots from JCrew. I thought it was incredibly thoughtful and really cool that he had found out my size and totally picked them out himself; I still wear them and they always make me smile. :)
edited: and ever since then he has picked out beautiful things...especially the e-ring!
