Had my engagement shoot in Central Park today....

Could it BE any hotter?!?! Good Lord. Unfortunately, we had to do it today due to scheduling issues... On a lighter note...I LOVE my photographer!!! He's so patient and has great ideas! He offered to do the shoot again if we don't like the way they come out given the humidity!! EEK! Anyway, we'll see the contact sheets in a week! P.S. Jenny B... Ed says hello :)

You are a trooper, it was a HOT one today! But at least it was sunny; I'm sure the pictures will be beautiful! May I ask, which photography studio are you using? Was the location shoot something they offered as part of a package, or something you personally requested? The photographer is the next thing I'm going to tackle, and a location shoot sounds intruiging. Thanks for the info....! C-

We're using an independent photographer who's located in Manhattan (thanks to a recommendation on this board). His name is Ed Collins. He specializes in photojournalism which is what we wanted. The engagement shoot is in addition to our package (very reasonable). His photography packages start at about $2200. The website is EdCollinsPhoto.com He really does fabulous work and he's a doll! YEAH I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! Hope u share the proofs! I am doing a video engagment session next sun in Central Park Conservatory. My video guy has us bring a blanket, wine, glasses flowers etc and films us "being romantic" Hope its not too hot. I love ED!!! Thanks for the info! Jen
