Anyone know of any districts hiring Perm Subs or Leave Replacements at this moment??
I mean of course I would want the tenure track position but I realize that is not happening in the middle of the year!

i don't know of any, i know i sub for elmont school district, and they have just called me 2x since septepmber.. not too promising..

I'm in the same boat as you.... I am looking for a full time elementary teaching position or leave replacement right now. It really stinks being a sub. I am all over the place and it is lonely and frustrating not having a classroom of my own.

I'm a TA also. I feel like I'm completely taken advantage of. It stinks! I know Copiague was looking for permanent subs a few weeks ago.
