dress alteration questions......Help!!
has anyone bought their dress at one place and had it altered at another??? where did you store your dress?? any recommended seamstresses in nassau to do alterations??? basically i might be able to get a good deal somewhere else, but its too far of a drive to go for alterations there as well!! TIA!

I bought my dress is one shop and Im having it altered at another becuase the original shop closed down. The shop that is doing the alterations is holding the dress for me.
In your case, I have a friend who used a woman named Fay from the Macy's Bridal at the Massapequa mall. She was her sales person but she ended up doing her alterations on her own, not through Macys. She stored the dress for her and did all of the work on her own. I've also heard good things about Fay from this site. FM me if you want me to get her contact info for you
