Guest List Question
If you are having an e-party and you want to keep it small, do you have to invite a friend's fiance/bf if you're not close to those people? Is it rude to just invite your friends and not their sig others..(if the sig others are not living with the friends that is?
Thanks

Re: Guest List Question
umm, thats a tough one. I would say invite them, just cause some people may not come if they cant bring their significant others with them. I guess it depends on the person. If they are engaged or living with someone, yes definitely, otherwise if it is a new relationship maybe not...

Re: Guest List Question
I would say that if the person is engaged or in the a steady relationship (only 1 person) for a significant amount of time than yes, you definitely should invite them. But who am I to say it's your party do whatever you feel comfortable with.

Re: Guest List Question
I invited people with significant others if I had met them. Otherwise I just invited the person. A couple of people did call and ask if they could bring their boyfriend/girlfriend and I said yes.

That's exactly what I was thinking! There are people who have sig others that I've never even met! For instance, I have one friend I've known for 3 years but her fiance NEVER comes out to meet us!
I think I'm only inviting the couples I know, then the people who's sig others I've never met I won't list on the invite...but if they call and ask I'll say sure!
Is that a good polite compromise?

Re: Guest List Question
I limited my e-party to immediate family (aunts/uncles/cousins) and for friends I invited my bridal party with dates and he invited his groomsmen with dates. We invited 95 and had 80 people come.
