beautiful - I love dramatic shots - if thats photoshop would you mind posting the directions. I plan on doing that once I get the thank yous out the door

These are courtesy of KB!
Browse to and open a picture.
In the top right where all the tabs are select layers.
You will see the picture you have opened and it is labeled as
"background"
Right click on the work background and select duplicate layer.
Name it and press ok.
On the left select the magnetic lasso tool and select the area you want
to be in color in the picture.
Now the item will be highlighted.
Select edit on the tool bar then copy.
Then select edit and paste.
Go back to the layers tab and select the background copy.
Go to enhance on the toolbar and select adjust color then remove color.
That will make it black and white and your selection stay in color.

Looks awesome Diana!!! Good job!!!!

With the magnetic lasso tool you can keep clicking to get it to stay in place before moving to a new location. You don't have to lasso the whole thing free hand. Ok that last sentence...LMAO!

Thank God I only have a 30 day trial!! This is too addicting! I wanna photoshop EVERYTHING!
Wait till I figure out how to do more things with this program.

Oh - I found it! It's on this website: ADOBE PHOTOSHOP in the column on the left under "Downloads." It says, "Tryout."

It is adobe elements and when you go to adobe.com click on products then elements and there is a link for trial on the bottom right. It is free for 30 days then you can buy it. I love it.
