Wedding gown...Check!! (with pics)
So Leslie was nice enough to come with me today to see my dress.....and wouldn't you know it, my fears were confirmed when the damn thing would not zip up. So as Hollie told me, my dress coming in has definitely got me motivated to go to the gym and lose the weight I have been saying I would lose for months now.
The dress is perfect, I just might need slightly higher shoes to avoid falling. I felt like I had to keep kicking under the skirt to walk forward.
Also realized why I so desperately want to go elsewhere for alterations. They tried to tell me that the woman I spoke to yesterday was not in yesterday. At least 3 people said that, which I said was impossible because I had spoken to her. Finally, one girl said she was indeed in yesterday. I thought I was going nuts. They are very disorganized and one person acted like a gestapo at the door.
I can't wait until after Thanksgiving when I pay off the dress and can finally free myself from going there again.
Anyhow, enough about that, here's the pics of me in my gown, don't mind how stupid I look, I kept wondering where the sales staff was!!

Janna - the dress is beautiful, and you look gorgeous!!! As for going to the gym - I have a membership to Bally's. I'm done with the class I've been taking on Dec 7. I'm available as a workout buddy on Mon & Weds after that.

I will have to agree with Janna on all points. First, her dress was great. It was very pretty and very much a great style for her. The beading and detail work was lovely.
As for the salespeople, they claimed she did not speak to the person who she said she spoke to because that person wasnt there. It wasn't until someone else spoke up and confirmed that she WAS there. The shop seemed disorganized but the dress was great and thats all that matters.
It was fun going with Janna. I wanted to try on dresses for fun but I knew that wasn't going to happen! I should have taken a picture with the both of us!!!

Irene, you have no idea.....if I didn't just pay rent, I would have paid it off today. Instead I have to wait until after I come back from Thanksgiving weekend!

Leslie - Conigs25 and I cannot come within 5 miles of bridal salon as we have the urge to pretend to be brides who havenn't found gowns yet! We loved the experience of looking!!

Augh!!! Andrew accidentally saw it!!!! I had this thread up and he walked in the room!!! As soon as he saw what it was, he ran out and said "I'm not supposed to see, I'm not supposed to see it!!!"

The only other one I know of is in Bay Shore, although I could have Bally and NYSC confused right now. I used to go to the Lake Grove one, but after 6 months I saw equipment that was broken still not fixed, and this was equipment I normally used, so that bothered me. With all the money they make, you would think they could replace the equipment!!

I wish I tried on more just to see what others would have looked like, but I didnt want to waste time looking at a dress that wasnt going to cover my tattoo.
