I think it is up to you. Some people send them out 1.5yrs in advance and other wait until like 6 months before. If you have a lot of out of towners, you might want to send it earlier to give them ample time to make travel arrangements. On the other hand, you also dont' want to send it out TOO early so everyone loses it and forgets! I would say anywhere from 8-12 months is sufficient time. Thats just my opinion.

I received my 1st ever STD magnet a year before their date. I will do the same. I've heard as far ahead as 1 1/2 years and as little as 6 months
