I didn't really buy him a "gift" but we already had a trip booked to Vegas. So after he proposed I paid for his half of the trip. It wasn't even close to what he paid for my ring though....

He wanted a dog. I'm not an animal person. Plus we don't live together yet. He really wanted teeth whitening. I know, I know but it's what he wanted. I think he'll want the dog as a wedding present.

Well kind of but not really. We got engaged and then the Spider-Man 2 DVD came out right away so I bought it for him. I gave it to him as an engagement present bc I knew he couldn't wait til Xmas!
I know it's not the same as him giving me a ring, but he got a free hat with it too! Besides, it's the thought that counts!!

My FI played Football in College so I am going to get his jersey framed for him. Also, there is a video somewhere, just have to find it, where it's his FIRST game with the team (he was the kicker) and it was his first kick ever for them........he has always wanted to take the video in and somehow get that one part of the video into a picture. So if I am able to find someone who can do that for me, then I will have that picture added under the jersey in the frame. I know he'll LOVE it!
