DIY Computer stuff...
Hey everyone... I'm hoping to do a couple DIY projects using my computer, from cone petals, to programs, and what not.
So my question is what programs do you use to put these things together, and what printers do ya have that print really well? ( I may ask for these things for Christmas)
Thanks for your help!

Re: DIY Computer stuff...
I hopefully can do the same but b/c I am clueless figured my Dell printer would do the trick. It didn't even dawn on me that maybe there were programs that helped with this....

Re: DIY Computer stuff...
My FH uses photoshop for everything, but hes a GD so he knows the program really well. You could probably use a word template?
We have an Epson printer and the print quality is SO great! We printed our STDs on it.

Re: DIY Computer stuff...
I have the cannon 3000i which works wonderfully, I printed all my CD labels on it. I would say any printer with seperate ink colors at least 4 would do the trick.
I used Microsoft Word, Photoshop and also Microsoft Picture It (does everything photoshop does but much easier to use). Also another option to photoshop would be Adobe Elements.

Re: DIY Computer stuff...
I use Word for all my stuff. I find it pretty easy to use. I wish I had graphic design software but it is EXPENSIVE!!! Anyway, I have 2 printers, both are Epson. I have the C86 for regular printing and I have the R300 for photo printing. The R300 can be used for both regular and photo printing. Both printers have separate color cartridges -- I think you get better print quality with those types as opposed to the all-in-one cartridge versions.
