How do you clean your engagement ring?

I know there is diamond cleaner, but is there a way to clean it at home??

I bought a jewerly cleaner at BBB (it's a small red jar, I forget the name), I clean my ring in that.

little water with windex and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. It comes out perfect!

I bought a sonic cleaner and steamer from the Jewelry appraiser. It was around 99 dollars but i figure if my fiacne spent that much money i can spend 99 to make it sparkle always He says it's safe to use daily.

I have that same small red jar... its is called Connoisseurs jewelry cleaner. I got it from the jeweler who made my ring but I saw the same cleaner in Bed Bath & Beyond. You just put your ring in the dip tray for like 15-20 seconds and rinse it with warm water and it sparkles!! everytime i clean it people notice the shine... and its cheap. I first bought this jewelry cleaner from the sharper image for like $99... and it cleaned just as well as the cheap cleaner.. so I returned it.

I clean both my e-ring and wedding band which is an eternity band by spraying som windex on them and use a soft brittle toothbrush and kind a rub it a bit and then put them in some boiling water for about 10 mins. Then they come out sparkling and brilliant. Sometimes I dip them in some alchohol.

I also use the red jar, and the same thing whenever I clean it someone new notices my ring. I got mine at fortunoff.

i heard if you put you ring in vodka then rinse it off.. it works really well.. has anyone else heard of this or maybe used it???

thanks girls, I was looking for advice for cleaning my ring, I am going to look in Bed bath and beyond for that cleaner

I soak mine overnight in windex or Kaboom - I used to work for a jewler and they didn't use anything special except for the sonic cleaner that I can't afford.

I bought a jar of jewlery solution from my family jewler and LOVE IT. I just let it soak for a little while anfd then take the brush and brush it and rinse with water and it SPARKLES!!!!!!!1

I got cleaner with my ring- I put in in the container and shake it for 3 minutes and my ring comes out beautiful!!!

I use the red jar too. It comes out amazing... I heard not to brush ur ring though my jewler said.

i soak with warm water and ammonia then scrub with a toothbrush. When I was in London, my ring got so scummy and gross. I had to soak it overnight then scrub it this morning for it to be decent.

either jewelry cleaner (doesn't matter the brand), or windex and HOT water...the hotter, the better.

Sometimes, if I'm on the go (like at work), a little dishsoap restores the sparkle
