NWR: A new job???? Please help!!
I am tired of working where I work. I work at Costco wholesale. DH and I work together and our scheduals are completely different. He's 4am- 12:30pm. I'm 11:30 am -8pm. And we don't spend a lot of time together and it KILLS me! The only thing is they pay really good. I'm making $16.20 an hour after 3 years. Full time! It's sweet. So I have to make a big change! So I went down to Tutor Time this morning. I absolutley adore kids!! The only thing is I will be making $8-9 an hour. Money shouldn't come between me and DH. They have a position available for infants. 7-4. Full Time. I don't have a college degree and I can't see myself going back to school. So is it worth the pay just to spend time with DH.? What would you do? Thanks in advance!!!

I think happiness comes first in this case. If you both can handle your pay cut, then I shouldn't see it as a problem.
Best of luck!

Is there the possibility of growth? Will your rate go up? Can you become a manager without a degree?
Would it be possible to just change your hours at your old job?

I think if you can swing it, then do it. Maybe COSCO with change your hours once they realize that you are leaving.

I agree with Jenn, your happiness should take precidence.
FH had to take a pay cut for a better life for us, and so far we are doing fine with the little less money and better quality of life.
Best of Luck!

I would pick happiness over money. What's the point to having money if you're miserable?

Re: NWR: A new job???? Please help!!
I called them last night to see if they can give me an exact amount per hour. $9 an hour she told me. After 6 months I will receive a raise. Again in 6. Then every year. But their raises can be .10-.25 cents for all I know. DH really doesn't want me to take it. Costco won't budge. I am a cashier I asked to be a cashier assistant come in earlier but the manager said but you still know how to ring. And if I decide to go down to part time they can make me work 5-10:30pm. DH wants me to keep looking. He thinks a bank. I'm really good with money and fast. But that's $10 an hour. Because I'm not experienced. And who knows if it's full time
EErrr!! Why does things have to be such a pain in the butt! Thanks ladies!
