Past brides--a first dance question for you
Did you have a spotlight on your first dance?

No, but our wedding small and it was in the afternoon with plenty of daylight streaming through the windows so I think that would have looked odd.

No. Our wedding was during the day. Everyone stood up all around the perimeter of the dance floor to watch.

Ohhhh, I never thought about this. The whole room full of people staring at me scares me enough....I can't handle a spotlight and I have a Sat night wedding...

Honestly, I did and I didn't even notice it. The spotlight actually makes it harder to see everyone standing on the sidelines, so it is great for anyone who is worried about seeing everyone staring. The people I did see were my family and friends all smiling at me, and that in itself made me feel happy and I couldn't stop smiling!
