Suffolk Hair Salons
I'm looking for a new stylist in Suffolk County. Has anyone been to Tru Salon or Paul James Salon? Who did you see and were they good? Any other suggestions are welcome. TIA!

Anyone ever been to Shears of Elegance in East Northport? I just found out my SIL's niece (cousin maybe? I already don't remember) owns it and was thinking of trying it.

a friend of mine used to go to shear of elegance. i don't know if she still goes, but when she did, she liked the colorist.

I've been to Tru - I really liked a girl named Alyssa, but once I called to make an appt w/ her, and she was gone. The owner did my hair instead, and I won't go back there.
I went across the street, instead, to T. Carlton's Spalon. I really like the place, there's a ton of stylists so it's easy to get an appt. I've seen Melissa Owen and Lauren Moyer, and they're both GREAT.

I think the owner (Renee sp?) did my hair for my wedding and I loved it and her.... she was great. My SIL goes there all the time and I have never heard anything bad about it.
