April showers, I'd go with closed. Unless it's later in April, then you should be ok with open.

I prefer open. You could probably go either way in April, especially if you're not really going to be outside. I'd look around for both types and see if you find anything you like.

I'm trying to decide the same thing. I normally prefer open but am worried it will wet or muddy out and my toes will get dirty
