2/18/06 Date Twins... you guys should see if you could work out something with the chair covers.
My BM told me that the only way that I could probably get the chaircovers free for the ceremony is if there were another bride b4 me using them.

I'm pretty sure they make the chairs ugly on purpose so that you pay extra for the chair covers. 
Of course... and I even said this to Chad and he kinda chuckled!

My name is Jamie and I'm getting married of February 17th at Jericho Terrace. (116 days) WOOHOO. We are having the reception in the Skylight room after pondering between this and the Dome.
We have gotten the Mini Vienesse thrown in with the coffee cordial bar both free. I am gonna start working on chair covers shortly. Wish me luck. I just think it is a nice finishing touch that should be for free.

I think you can speak with GINA whenever you want. I met with her about a month and a half ago and picked out invitation. I have to go back because I wasn't happy with the proof sometime this week if I can find the time. She will go over vendors with you but don't make her push you into any particular vendor. She was pushing the limo company on me and I am really no impressed with them. They get kickbacks when we use a house vendor.

I believe JT gives a 20% discount on invitations. I got a 25% discount using a LIW vendor.

OMG we are Church & reception hall twins!!
How many tables are you having? I am also in the Dome Room and I am concerned about the amount of guest we can fit with out it feeling crowded. We are planning on having about 220 people and will oprobably have somewhere between 18-20 tables.

Does Jericho let the bridal party hava a different selection for their main course or do they have to pick from the same menu as the regular guests??
ex: the bridal party gets surf and turf and the rest of the guests pick from the wedding menu.

We're going tomorrow to JT to drop off another payment. I will ask if the contract can be changed, like things being added or taken away at that time. Although I know I will hear it from FH about this!! But truth be told, we had no clue how everything worked when we booked!! So we negotiated price by taking some things off the menu, but that was it.
Any questions I should ask for tomorrow??

Hey, did you happen to ask about the noise levels in the skylight room for ceremonies? Do you think we should all call to see if there are receptions going on during our ceremonies?

I'll ask my BM tomorrow about the noise factor. I'm almost positive there's another wedding going on at the time of our ceremony because they originally said we could get the Dome room for it, and then a few weeks later said we would have the Skylight room.
As for the chair covers, I'll ask if they include bows, although I doubt it. But the chair covers would be good enough!!

I asked my BM the other day if votives were allowed on the tables and he said yes so I'm assuming the candle placecards are ok. I plan on doing them and possibly also the table # candles.
