I changed my wedding date!
From October 22, 2006 to September 10th 2006.
I am now a summer bride!
All my vendors said it was ok so I changed eveything today!!!

I really really want an outside ceremony and in October..especially at the end of the month when I was booked [22nd]..theres a chance it will rain and if it doesn't rain it will definitely be cold. In September, yeah..it may rain..but it won't be cold!

when you changed your date did you have to have a new contract written up or did they just make the changes on the original contract

It was no trouble changing at all. I said I wanted September instead and the BM said she had the 10th or the 17th and I chose the 10th!
She said she didn't have to send a new contract if I didn't feel like I needed one but I asked her to send a new one to my dad anyway..I knew he would want it.
Before I actually changed the date, I called my DJ and photographer to make sure they were available on that date and they were..then I called the hall and did the switch.
I'm so glad it all worked out.
Now I need summer ideas! All my ideas were for fall which was way easier IMO!!!

I didn't get it yet because I just changed it yesterday but I think she's only sending an updated one..the only thing that needed changing is the date..the price stays the same..the payment schedule will be different but she said my dad can just mail the first payment a month earlier or pay more the first payment.
Are you considering changing yours?

Where are you booked?
It shouldn't be a problem as it's still far in advance.
My hall gave me no problem at all and it was a lot easier than I thought. I was thinking about changing for a while but kept worrying it was going to be such a hassle and it really wasn't at all. It was very easy and not stressful at all.

They will be sure to switch it. Have them mail you something in writing so you have it as well..tell them you want a new contract. I told my BM that my dad would want one, which he did. I wouldn't worry..they will definitely make sure it is all changed.

We got married this year Sept 10,2005 and it was the most perfect weather! Not a cloud in the sky and the ceremony was outside. Hi 80's during the day...low 80's at night.
