Can any florist accompany to downtown to pick out flowers day of?

I've heard you can go down in the 20s and get beatiful flowers the day of, the only catch is that vendors need to be present.

I'm getting married in NJ just over the GWB and am curious if any of the vendors on here source their flowers from the city.
