question for a friend...
My friend and her DH eloped in Vegas and their parents r throwing them a small party here to celebrate. She gave a STD to her boss a month ago and she has been very irritated w/her lately. She wants to uninvite her. Is this possible when she already has a STD?

a similar thing happened to me.
I didn't send my boss an STD, but I did ask for her address several months ago. that's a pretty obvious indication that she would be invited.
anyhow... long story short, my boss has become a real beyotch since then and I really only invited her b/c it is proper etiquette. she declined, thank goodness! I really did not want her there at ALL.

thanks girls, we kind of thought this too. I just know everyone on here is so creative I thought I'd give it a shot. Someone on the 07 boards suggested saying she had to cut the list down more and only close friends could be invited. I'll see what she thinks. I think she's stuck though, I told her she'll be so busy talking to other people that she probably won't even see her much (but it stinks to pay for her). Anyway, thanks again for the advice!

I think once the STD is sent you have to invite her. It would be one thing if she never sent it, but now her boss knows she intended to intvite her. To back out on the invite would look horrible, not to mention make it even more uncomfortable at work.
