Spinoff on personal question - what size bra do you wear? (with POLL)
I read somewhere that the "average" bra size in the US is now a 36C!!

good question - I'll have to research that...I think the average must be correlated to the rates of obesity, because the average bra size 10 years ago was a 34B!

No you didn't! My sister has been blessed with natural DDD's and when she was preggers, she had to get specially made bras that were like an F!! Holy Boobies!!

I have heard about some sizes being called different things, so I looked it up on Just my Size--their sizes go B, C, D, DD, DDD, F, FF, G, H, I, J
I'm a DD so I didn't know if I should select D or E in the poll.

32C. It's such a pain in the azz to find bras, not all companies make them. I had an argument with the girl in Victoria's Secret. She's trying to tell me that a 34B is exactly the same thing. I said if it was the same thing THEY'D CALL IT A 32C 
Sorry, I've just been very frustrated clothes shopping recently so I'm taking it out on this post

okay so Just my Size doesn't have my size :(
I am an AA or if you go to Target and go to the childrens section they have bras that have no cup size, simply numbers and there I am a 34 :( sad but true and it ***** that NOBODY has it, Vicky's does but who can afford Vicky's bras on a wedding budget.

Yeah, that is annoying. My friend has the opposite probably, she is thin, but has a wide frame( broad sholders & back, tall ) & she is a 38B & can never find bras.

VS tried to tell me the same thing about a 36C and a 34D...that they are the same??!

Just My Size is targeted to larger women.  That's why I went there to find out if ther ewas an "E" 
Have you tried Playtex bras? They make a lot of different types & sizes & the have them in department stores & Target.
ETA-- I checked & they make a "Nearly A", but not a AA.

I worked for VS for three years and although it osunds funny the sizes are comparable. Try them on you will see that they are very similar, I wouldn't say the same but def similar.

If I was in a bind, I understand that the 34B could work but it's 2 inches too big in the back and a cup too small in the boobs so it's definitely not 'my size'. I've tried them on - I find it very uncomfortable - the cup ends halfway thru my boobs.

I know to a lot of gals, the whole "F" cup thing sounds incredible. Not to me. Prior to breast reduction surgery, I was an "H".

Speaking of bras .. why do my straps always fall down .. new, old .. no matter how I adjust them .. doesn't matter .. they are such a pain in the arse!
