Re: POLL: Help pick a Gown for the Bride??

Definitely the dress the brunette is in. It is very beautiful and elegant. Although the other dress is pretty, I don't particularlyy like when the skirt of the dress has the ruffle things.

The first one. It is timeless and classic! I am sure you will look beautiful, but if in your heart you liek the second one better than go with it. It is your dress.

Re: POLL: Help pick a Gown for the Bride??

I dealt with a similar decision. The reason I went with what I would define as a more traditional gown like the first one is because it felt less "trendy" to me. I want to feel more like a princess and I felt like more of a princess in the other dress. I felt a little more modern and sexy in the other.

Many people suggested I try and picture myself walking down the aisle in the dress and see which one you could picture yourself in more - that didn't really work for me. It's really about the way you want to look on your wedding day:)

Good luck with your decision

That is part of my indecisiveness... I dont want to go too untraditional... but #2 doesnt look as untraditional in person... i think her hair and background give it a slight funkier look... also i have tried on dresses where the skirt like #2 was a little drastic for me, but when i put on #2 it wasnt... my mom nearly fell over for #1, and she loves #2 but has not seen ME in it!

I just wish i could try on #2 with my mom

Re: POLL: Help pick a Gown for the Bride??

I love #2 - I tried on similar dresses and they're so flattering.
Honestly, its really about what type of dress you want - i dont' think the 2nd one is that untraditional at all.
the first one is pretty - but i think its a bit ordinary because it looks just like every other dress. the 2nd one is pretty because its a little unique.

everyone has their own type of dresses that they are drawn to so its more about how you feel in the dress, rather than what other people think.

Good luck!

Re: POLL: Help pick a Gown for the Bride??

It depends on how trendy and or dramatic you want to look. If you want a dramatic look #2 is the one to go with, but if you want a softer look go with #1. I always like to ask myself this question- In 10,20,30, years when you look at your photos are you still going to love that dress, flowers, colors, etc......

I like #1 better. I am not a fan of the "cake" dresses. I tried on both kinds and did not find them to be flattering on me.

Re: POLL: Help pick a Gown for the Bride??

Depends on when/where you are getting married. If it is an evening both will do. I think #2 is too formal for an afternoon wedding. (I wanted something similar but decided against it for that reason). Otherwise both are gorgeous! Sorry to not be so helpful!
