looking for an inexpensive vet (that is still good) in the suffolk area
up to 30 minutes away from port jeff we are willing to drive
we are looking for someone/a practice that is good but doesn't break the bank
I would not even mind going to a vet clinic s long as they are good
any reccomendations ladies ???

Island rescue in Bayshore is very reasonable. Is that close to you??

Suffolk Veterinary in Selden. I love them. Very reasonable prices.

i think that' where i went, that place was disguisting, they were defintely not clean.

We use Dr. Winkler. He is great, and my pup seems to like him as well.

Island Rescue does mostly strays. For example, you show up on saturday before a certain time and they fix the animal that day - no appoinment needed. I believe its $40 so it works out great for anyone who catches feral or stray cats and gets them fixed out of their own pocket. I wouldn't take my pet there for an actual vet visit though.

we just got a kitten and are planning on taking him to Rocky Point Animal Hospital... it is about 15-20 east of PJS
