12th Night, Oksana & Hair Genie
This is a tipping question- if anyone has used these vendors, how much do you tip??

Hey girl!!!!!
I used them all as you know. I tipped Jenn like $25 or $30 I believe, and Oksana the same....
12th nite We werent going to tip until we got our proofs but our best man tipped Cynthia when she left because we had such a good time with her. We tipped Michael $50 when we picked up our proofs.

hey!! So, you did tip Oksana & jenn..I've heard if they work for themselves you don't need to since they pocket all the money anyway---??
As far as 12th night, I have Dominic for the 1st like 4 hrs or somehting, then someone else for 10hrs... do I tip both?? Also, good point about tipping before seeing the proofs- how do you let them know they will get a tip after the proofs??? seems an uncomfortable phrase to say

We tipped 12th Night as follows:
Dom - $50
Geraldine - $100
IMO we undertipped because they really went above and beyond, esp. Dominic who had to deal with chaos in the morning.

Well you are right about Oksana and Jenn but Jenn fastened my corset and the both of them stayed well after they were done and helped with a few other little things going on so I felt they deserved it.
As for tipping the photog after, we didnt say anything....we just gave it to them months later. I know 12th nite has a good rep but we didnt want to tip for anything we hadnt actually received yet. Imagine if we got our proofs and they were all horrible - we just tipped for nothing!
But as I said the best man gave $ to Cynthia the day of anyway. We just hadnt set any $ aside for Michael.

I tipped oksana $20...which is 20% and i thought that was more than enough.
But..i feel a tiny bit bad for not tipping the photographer. I used cynthia from images forever (she used to be with 12th night)..but i figured she works for herself and we didn't budget a tip for her.
