Re: NWR- ANYONE HAVE A GOOD SHRIMP AND PASTA RECIPE???
I have one,it's really good.
1lb angel hair pasta 1tbsp olive oil 1tbsp butter 1lb cleaned and deveined shrimp 2 medium shallots diced 2 cloves garlic diced three plum tomatoes diced 8-10 large fresh basil leaves cut into thin strips ( to do this take the basil leaves put them together on top of eachother, roll it up (like you're rolling a "cigarette" ) than just cut the bunch to create long thin strips) 1/2 cup white wine 1/4-1/2 cup heavy cream Salt & Pepper
Add the butter and oil to a large skillet. Add shallots and garlic and cook until tender (not brown) add the tomatoes & salt and pepper. Saute for 3 minutes while stirring everything together. Add the wine and let simmer until it reduces by half. Add the shrimp , when the shrimp become lightly pink all through add the cream slowly until the desired consistency is achieved add basil. Stir well.

Re: NWR- ANYONE HAVE A GOOD SHRIMP AND PASTA RECIPE???
Here is a simple one that I make
Serves 2 6 garlic cloves sliced olive oil 14 - 16 shrimp - peeled and deveined 1tbsp dried basil pinch of red pepper flakes 1/2 cup bottled clam juice 1/2 cup heavy cream linguine
Over low heat saute the garlic and olive oil until the garlic is soft (Do not brown) Add the clam juice, basil and red pepper flakes and bring heat up to medium. Reduce by half and add the heavy cream and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Add shrimp to the pan and cook for 3 minutes until shrimp are pink. Season with salt and pepper and serve over pasta.
