NWR: You have to hear my takeout story (nahagahama, long beach)! I am sooo mad!
We ordered from Nagahama in Long Beach. My FH went to pick it up and they claimed i orderd additional food (an extra $15 worth). He said i didn't but they insisted so he just took it. When he got home I called to tell them that they messed up and he should not be charged for food we did not order. They admitted they messed up and then gave us such a hard time. Then they insisted that they were going to send someone to our home to pick up the sushi. I asked if they were going to serve it to someone else. they said no but since we didn't order it and don't want to pay for it, we should not eat it. unbelievable! so we call back and tell them that we want the money back in cash b/c we don't trust them to put it back on our card. The girl gave us such an attitude. Refused to give us cash back. I yelled at her and she hung up. then we called to make sure they were cdoming and they said they were and then faked like they didnt understand what i was saying and then hung up on me! They NEVER came. We havne't gotten our money back... and they had the nerve to PRANK call us at our home. At like 10 someone called and asked for me. I got on the phne and he said "did you just order from nagahama? and i said ok.... and he said "how did you like your cream of sum young guy?" do you believe that!!!!!!! UGH!!! I am so mad!!! What should i do???

What can they do??? My dad said I should call for delivery and give them random addresses... LOL. I wouldn't do that, but it is kinda funny. I felt like i was in a seinfeld episode

oh my god we have had such problems ordering from them as well! They think they have the best food in Long Beach so now we boycotted them and have NEVER gone back! Yummy yummy is good and so is nagoya!
Contact the better business bureau!

It happens. You are giving them bad publicity here and we will NOT order from them.
As i recite the story, I see that it is funny. it would be more funny if it wasn't me 
WE called them back after the prank and told them that they are guilty of 3rd degree harassment that we just subpoenaed our phone records which can unblock the private number that called us and we are pressing charges and were calling the police. A bunch of nonsense, but they didin't call again

i would go in and demand to speak with the manager. also, write a letter and send it to the restaurant, local paper and newsday. and tell them you're sending it to the media.

What a bunch of jerks. If they're a chain, it's easy to go over their head to the corporate headquarters. But if they're a family owned business, it's not as easy. I hate to hear about people being taken advantage of like that!

that really doesn't matter though. what are they going to do, go back to your house and do something? then you can call the police and have them arrested. they'll get fired before that.
you NEED to speak to a manager before too much time passes.

we have such problems with every food take out place in Long Beach
we ordered from Diner by the sea- yesterday- they forgot a few things
then Eat End Pizza- they forgot the drinks- then had the nerve to tell us it wasn't on the ticket- yeah duh, b/c you forgot to write it! not b/c I didn't order it
it's really annoying, but not one place in the whole town can get you your order right and in less then 45 minutes
I miss NYC! I never had these problems there!

yeah we don't do east end anymore. now san remo in the west end, they are fast with delivery and haven't screwed anything up yet. I am so mad. I am def. disputing the charge. B (the possible fh depending) called the cc company and was like "what does cream of sum young guy even mean??" It was quite hilarious. the cc guy was like "sir i do not know" ha ha ha no more nagahama

Wow, not to be rude, but that's kinda funny, but definitely messed up.
In all honesty, what is calling the newspaper really going to do? Probably nothing but waste your time. I am a vengeful person, but really, just forget it and don't give them your business again, and tell everyone you know.
P.S.
I almost went there on Saturday too!
