Something to leave in guests' cars?
Other than personalized air fresheners, what are some ideas for things I can leave in guests' cars (for the people that valet'd with our hall)?
I already have OOT baskets for the hotel rooms, and kind of expensive favors (like 20 dollars each!!!) so I want to keep whatever we put in the cars small...
Thanks, in advance, for your ideas!!!

Re: Something to leave in guests' cars?
Someone mentioned to me awhile ago that she'd gone to a wedding where the couple put directions on how to get home in their guests' cars. It was just a really nice gesture since most people either use our directional cards, which only tell them how to get TO the place or they Mapquest it and sometimes forget to get the reverse route.

What about those individual breathalizer testers? Maybe some people might get offended, but in reality it is a good idea.

Re: Something to leave in guests' cars?
- personalized CD - let's hope the guest's car has a CD player.
- personalized bottled water (2) - take the original label off and replace it with a print out of your names or message, etx.
- candy
hmm.. dunno what else but i wish i've gotten that before. i think it's very thoughtful.

i prefer not to answer as there are about 4 girls on this site that will be at my wedding and the favors are a surprise... it's more than one thing though.

Re: Something to leave in guests' cars?
How about personalized M&Ms? You can choose your wedding colors and have your own sayings printed on them. They even have boxes and bags to choose from if you want them packaged. Here's the link:http://shop2.mms.com/customprint/index.asp ETA - They would be good to eat on the way home!

Re: Something to leave in guests' cars?
Personally I wouldn't put any kind of food that smells... bagels, some cookies, etc. Not unless its in an air tight package. I know A LOT of people including my DH who if they got into their car and the car smells like food, bagels, etc. would get really upset and annoyed. Esp in a new car!!!

Re: Something to leave in guests' cars?
If you are getting air fresheners, you might want to instruct the valets to leave them wrapped so the smell doesn't come into the car. I'm highly allergic to, well, pretty much everything that's scented, so I would be upset if the valet unwrapped it for me.
I went to a wedding this summer that had a food station set up outside by the valet stand. There were snacks, mini pastries, bagels, and candy. There weren't any napkins or drinks though - water bottles with personalized labels would be a GREAT idea!
I think it's such a cute idea to leave a present in the cars. I'm totally going to do this. Thanks for posting it!
