Re: mom as MOH
My friend actually chose her mom to be her MOH. She is the only girl and its was such an honor for her mom. Let me just say that she has been amazing througout the planning process! I think its cute!

Re: mom as MOH
Im the only girl too. I have really good girlfriends, but none r closer to me than mom. They're all fine w/ being in the BP and giving up the MOH title to her.

Re: mom as MOH
I'm not very close with my mom. Althought I wish were close enough that I would want to ask her.

Re: mom as MOH
I regret not having my mom in my BP. She still walked me down the aisle, but she truly is my best friend, and I think she would have been honored. I think it's a great idea.

Re: mom as MOH
I have two older sisters, one lives in Florida, and one up here, as well as a niece that is more like a sister than anything else. I can't choose between them, so my mom suggested that I make her the maid of honor.
I want my mom to walk me down the aisle, but I also want her to stand up with me, more so than my best friend, sisters, or niece. I haven't chosen anything yet, but I'm strongly leaning towards it.
