Woohoo! Slipper Baskets and Petal Cones are done!!! PICS!
I am happy to say my petal cones and slipper baskets are done. I have to thank Ang (Ang&Rich) for the slipper tags. They are so perfect. Also want to thank Donna for her help with the petal cones. They were a pain in the you know what. I definitely did not think it was going to take that long. Between the making the cones, wax seals, ribbons, spray painting the baskets, etc. it probably took me 40+ hours to complete everything. But I am really happy with the way they came out. Also thanks to JP&EP an 06 Bride for the idea to use wine bags for the slippers. The slippers fit perfectly in there. I can't believe my day is 19 days away  Here are the pics.

WOW!!!! Everything looks wonderful!!!!! How did you make the tags for the slippers???? Was it printed that way, or did you use two different colored paper???? And the cones looks awesome!!!!

The slipper tags are white cardstock mounted on black cardstock with an eyelet for the ribbon. Ang made them for me - allaboutthedetails@hotmail.com if you want to ask her for more info. The front has my monogram and the back has the size and a cute little saying. It says "Compliments of the newlyweds to keep you dancing all night."
Also to answer some questions I got via FM. I got all the slippers at the aqueduct flea market and also solo99. They were $1 each and I got a range of sizes from 7-10. I got the organza bags on ebay from favorfrenzy and the baskets were plain and I spray painted them red. It was a pain but they came out great.

This is gonna sound crazy - but I have never seen such PERFECT wax seals!!! If I knew I could make them that way, I'd do them on my petal cones and invites but I'm just not that talented!!! GREAT JOB!!!! Everything came out beautifully!!

Thanks ladies!!! To answer the questions: I know the seals came out great. I was really nervous at first to make them since I had read how hard they were to make. I followed the step by step directions from fauxwax.com and used the poly pad and ice and had no problem at all. Also make sure you have a low temp glue gun.
To make the cones: buy a package of 12 inch doilies from AC Moore and cut each one into 4 and take each section and roll into a cone shape. You can attach with double sided tape or glue gun.
