Probably the Riviera in Brooklyn. The food was plentiful and the service was unsurpassed.

My friends got married in Staten Island at a private house that overlooked the cliffs on July 4th. It was gorgeous under a tent and had champagne flowing and a great band..truly a wonderful evening.
ETA: My venue wasn't too shabby either!

Hands down the Knights of Columbus in Oceanside. The food was great- the service was great- and the DJ had everyone dancing all night long. I've been to other weddings in fancier halls and they just didn't compare. If you're thinking of booking there, I'd give it a big thumbs up.
I went to a wedding at the Carlyle that was really nice too- the food was unbelievable.

My Brother's was at The Plaza Hotel in NYC... but I was in High School at the time so I didn't truly appreciate it.
Oheka Castle (in terms of grounds / scenery)
The Carltun (food)
Jericho Terrace (food & viennese hour to die for!!!)

The Vanderbilt Mansion in Oakdale - cocktail reception. The food was excellent and the grounds were breathtaking!

The Plaza - NYC...ridiculous! They spared no expense, the atmosphere (well, you know already) and the food was absolutely exisite.

Russo's the Bay last year...the bride and groom had screens all over the room, they had dancers, when they first entered the room they came out of the wall and it didn't end until 2am!...It was crazy!!!

Just went to a wedding on Tribeca Rooftop last Friday! The space is amazing with the view of the city all around and very NYC, the service is unbelievable and the food.. WOW!! I was eating and drinking non stop
Best wedding so far!
Also went to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens last August.. stunning grounds!

I would have to say Russo's on the Bay and Villa Lombardi's - but it isn't always just the place. I've been to more than one wedding at the same hall and felt that one was WAY better than the other. I think it has a lot to do with the feeling you get from the couple, the energy of the crowd, and the little extras that make it special JMO.

I haven't been to too many weddings...but the ones that stand out was one at Terrace on the Park. They had rolling bars and the service was top notch, I danced all night.
My sister's wedding at a restaurant in Brooklyn. It was buffet food, small wedding (only family and very few friends) and the happiness was evident. I had a blast.
ETA: Of course, MY wedding is the best so far...it rocked!  I'm highly biased!  But it was a combination of both I described above. So much love and incredible service...I worried not for a thing and my guests were so grateful for being invited.

the crow's nest out in the hamptons...
we were a little younger then and stayed the whole weekend. it was so much fun.
i loved my ceremony. my priest made it so personal and presented us with a certificate of congratulations from the pope.
the reception was a little hectic for me, but being surrounded by dear friends and family was the best feeling...
