For brides having a morning ceremony/afternoon reception
Are you planning on having a dinner or something the night before for those guests staying in the hotel the night before the wedding?????
Also--my reception ends at 5:30 and I dont want to go to a bar. Any suggestions about what we can do or where we can go?

Re: For brides having a morning ceremony/afternoon reception
after the wedding we were all exhausted and went our seperate ways from being up all night (rehearsal dinner) and waking up first thing for hair/makeup etc...
I invited all guests who were from OOT to the rehearsal dinner the night before.

Well the thing is that FMIL is having people back at her house and my parents are doing the same. They will not have the parties together...even though I asked them to. My mom said she would have people back at my house, including his family, but his mom "prefers" to have it at her house. So now I am stuck. I dont want to bounce in between the houses on our wedding day. So I think that I just want to go somewhere wil FH's/my friends....I was thinking the bar at the hotel...still not sure

Re: For brides having a morning ceremony/afternoon reception
We're doing an early RD Friday night (5:30-6PM) for all OOT guests who are staying at the Wingate (and all family). Any friends staying with friends/family can feed themselves! We're not planning anything for anyone after the wedding, but we'll be staying at the Wingate too, and something informal will probably pop up around 8PM or so. Don't feel obligated to plan post-wedding festivities!

RD Thursday night, something casual at the house on Friday for OOT guests. Saturday morning is the wedding and then we will all probably go to either a bar or a hotel bar. Still trying to decide.

Re: For brides having a morning ceremony/afternoon reception
Are any of the morning ceremony brides going to take pictures with FH before? If so, what time is your day going to begin?

Re: For brides having a morning ceremony/afternoon reception
I'm doing morning/afternoon and contemplating doing pictures before so we don't miss cocktail hour since our ceremony's at the same place as reception.... but I dont want to spoil the walking down the aisle seeing each other for the frist time moment.... what do you all think?

I'm in the exact same boat, I could have written your post - we keep going back and forth on this!
