bridal party table

Do you guys think its okay to not have a bridal party table at the reception and just scatter everyone? Has anyone been to a wedding where they did this?

Re: bridal party table

I was in a wedding where we had to be scatered because the bride forgot to include a table for us. I didn't like it. Its better when there's a table for the bridal party. If they want to get up and move around afterwards then they can.

Re: bridal party table

I am not doing this. I was at a wedding in June where this was done and the fiancee of one of the groomsmen ended up sitting a table by herself with people she didn't know. I assigning them tables just like everyone else and letting them sit with their SO's. JMO

I didn't think they did the whole bridal party table thing anymore. I can't stand this...I would prefer they sit with their families, dates, etc...

Let me clarify, I am seating the bridal party and their dates together at 2 tables (10 ppl per table) so everyone gets to sit with their date.

why?

Because I think the bridal party should be at their own table. They deserve some recognition for being such an important part of your wedding. That is JMO

Re: bridal party table

We are haivng our bridal party sit together....not at a dais...but there will be a round table of 14 on each side of where Fh and I will be sitting...

It worked out good for us,the table on my side will be my cousins/friends in the bridal party with there significant others and the table on FH's side will his cousins/friends in the bridal party with significant others

I dont like when people make the bridal party sit without there guests......

Re: bridal party table

I decided against this. I have so many different people in my bridal party that I thought it would be nice to sit everyone with people they know. 3 of the girls in my bridal party will sit together at 1 table 1 will be at another table and another 1 will be at another table. I agree they should be recognized so my bridal party will be sitting at the outer tables but I want my bridal party to have a good time and their guests to have a good time so I would rather sit everyone with peopel they know. They will be recognized also b/c they are all wearing the same dress so it won't be hard to spot them.
JMO it is really a personal preference & you have to look at who is in your bridal party.
