Any past or future Curacao honeymooners?
Where did you stay? Did you take any day trips to Aruba or to Venuzuela?

ETA: We're staying at the Avila Beach Hotel in Willemstad. It was a mansion that's been converted into a hotel.

I lived in cruacao for a few months a few years ago. I was lucky enough to do my student teaching there. It's a beautiful island. Lots of fun bars/clubs. I can't remember the name of it...but there is one that is open at night right on the beach...its a popular beach that most people go to during the day. We didnt take any day trips to other islands....but I know you can.
When my mom came to visit She stayed at the Marriot. It was so beautiful. Here is the link.

Curacao is on our list of possibilities. We were thinking of splitting up Aruba and Curacao, because supposedly you can hop short flights between the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire & Curacao)
Right now the only 2 hotels I'm considering on Curacao is the Marriott and the Hilton.
The only thing that bites about going there is that there are no direct flights!!
