We loved the four poster bed and the room was fantastic. It was an excellent way to start our HM.

Partial Ocean/Pool view room
We loved this hotel. The room was excellent (it was the same size as the room at the 4 seasons) but the hotel itself was just wonderful. (We visited the Hyatt and the Princville, the Hyatt by far makes the coolest impression - DH loved the way the Hyatt made their pool look like it was in the ocae, You could sit on sand but were still in the pool. They needed to do this since their ocean location was not swimable where we were there. The princeville was nice - but I still would have gone with the Marriott or the Hyatt.
I loved the pool at the Marriott. It was so big that even though there were other guests, it felt like we were alone. The hyatt's pool look crowded even though there were not that many people there.
I liked the fact that at the Marriott, you could actually swim in their ocean. Oh, Kauai is a lot less expensive than Maui. Duke's was really good (resturant at the Marriott - I loved the crab wantons).

Hotel Hanna Maui, Hanna, Maui
Sea Ranch Cottage
This is an over $800 a night room but it is SOOOOOO WORTH IT. WE LOVED IT. This was the most fabulous suite/house. It was amazing. We loved the wedge fries at the hanna ranch resturant - only served at dinner - but the food was really fresh and the drinks were great there.

The Four Seasons, Wilea, Maui
Garden View Room
Honestly, for the money we spent - we would have selected a different hotel, but definately would stay in the Wilea area - so either the Fairmont or the Grand Wilea which are on either side of the Four seasons. We would still highly reccomend having dinner at Spagos at the Four Seasons.
The bathroom in our room at the Four seasons was amazing.
