how do you let people know where you are registered?

FH and I did not put any info about our registry in our invitations because from what we understand that's a no-no. However, we are starting to realize the crowd that we have invited (with a few exceptions) are not going to be giving money. Further, no one has even asked where we are registered.

I am fine with no money, but I would like it if people would use our registry. What can we do at this point to let people know without seeming rude?

Any suggestions are appreciated!

I put mine on my LI Weddings website. I also told my FMIL and my mom.

From what I know, your bridal party and immediate family are supposed to spread the word. Either that or its usually listed in the bridal shower invitation. You cant tell people where your registered, but if they ask you then you are more than entitled to tell them.

don't make an issue of telling people, you probably don't have to;
-either they will ask other family members (like your parents)
-they'll check with the most common stores to see if you're registered there
-did anyone throw you a shower yet? they will have most likely included that info in the shower invitations

some sites let you e-mail people to let you know I know that target does on there site and macys too - also if anyone looks up your name on the wedding channel site macys and i think bbb or LnT also pops us -

If you set up a knot website, and send the link to people, there is a registry feature built in to the website...

You give those little cards to the person who is in charge of your shower and they put them in the shower invitations.

I didn't have any registry information in my STDs, shower invitations, or wedding invitations. My mom spread the word about where we were registered.

Tell a few family members and friends and I'm sure the word will spread fast.

From my experience, people will find out through word of mouth.

The reason you get those little cards are so you can give them out but since its tacky for the bride or groom to do that, thats why they go in the shower invites.

My info was on my shower invites, and i made a website, put the info on that and sent it to everyone
