Florist Problems - want to get out of contract
Has anyone gotten out of their contract with their florist?
I have been hearing a lot of negative comments about mine lately on here and I am starting to get worried.
I have paid them a $300 deposit. If anyone wants to know who it is, please FM me.

Does your contract say anything about what the policy is if you want to cancel?

At this point I would see if there are any florists available for your date. Once you secure one, at least you'll have the peace of mind knowing you wont have to worry about your flowers. Unfortunately you might have to take that $300 hit.

There will be negatives and positives about all vendors. Don't allow a splurge of negatives (unless they're absolutely MAJOR and you're terrified) discourage you from using your florist.

I would just call the florist and express your concerns and have them reassure you that all will be well. If you do not get any satisfaction or results from that then I would cancel.

read thru the contract and see what it says the penalties are for negating it...maybe if you cancel within a certain amount of time it's a full refund-like a year before the date in question.
