Anyone ever been to Turks & Caicos??
I am considering Parrot Cay hotel which is on its own island. Anyone ever been there???

Yes, I've been to Turks & Caicos and honestly I don't see what the hype is all about. There are so many more amazing islands in the Caribbean. The water is amazing (especially if you are into snorkeling/scuba diving) but on-land there isn't much to do outside of where you stay. It's a very "flat" island with little scenery as well. I guess it just depends on what you are looking for!!!

Yes i have and I loved it! It is very beautiful and have been to a lot of carribean islands. the above poster is accurate in saying there is not a lot to do on the island. Snorkeling is amazing and iguana island was terrific. but for a rowdy party, this is not the place. Also, the island is very safe and not as comercialized as some of the others! But if you do Sandals, they would have a lot of activities planned.

HI- IM GOING THERE FOR MY HONEYMOON! TO PARROT CAY TOO!
IVE ALSO BEEN TO TURKS. I THINK THE BEACH IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACH I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE. PARROT CAY IS SUPER LUXE AND THEY HAVE A FANTASTIC PACKAGE WHICH INCLUDES BREAKFAST AND DINNER DAILY AND OTHER THINGS.
I CANT WAIT TO GO! FM ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS!!

I went to Club Med two summers ago. Beautiful beaches, great snorkelling, and b/c it was Club Med lots of activities. (the T&C Club Med is adults only)

I have. FH and I and 4 other couples went and rented a villa on the beach...it ws gorgeous. We went out to dinner a few times but we mostly hung out at the house. We were with some divers and they said the diving was fantastic. The beaches were beautiful and so was the water!
