I have an appt with Dom tonight, and I have a few questions for those that have booked with them already!
They don't do albums, but how do they give you the proofs? All film negs or digital?
Can one photog do both color and black&white?
If you get a photojournalistic photg, will they still do a few of the traditional posed shots?

1. If you do film for black & white then you will get those in unmaked proofs 4X6 as you would from any other photog. The digital pictures are given to you in CD ROM format. Every picture taken on your day wil be handed to you as an original file (huge files...muysmallest is 5mb). This is different than the DVD set to music. The DVD is a "best of" your shots (or at least what they think). It's only for watching, these are not your proofs to make albums and re-prints with. The CD is what you use for the re-prints, etc.
2. Yes, one photog can do both B&W and color.
3. Yes, one photog can shoot both the PJ and formal or trad shots. But if you have 2 photogs, the "main" which is usually Dom will do the trad shots and the second photog will shoot different angles. I picked Geraldine to stay until the end of the night because she rocks at PJ and I wanted her "eye" to capture my reception. Although the PJ can and will do trad shots if asked.

I rarely go onto these boards only for the WM threads and now that I found the 12night thread as well.
Well, just wanted to let you know I'm having my wedding at Westbury Manor as well on Oct. 2, 2005. Yes almost 12 days away!! Can't believe it. I can imagine with only 7 months to go how anxious and planning your still doing. How is your dress? BMs dresses?
Well, thought I'd write to you and try you on the thread as well. If you have any questions on WM. Just send me a FM.

thanks ladies....Dom is fantastic!!! he actually took 98- yes 98 pics that day and all of them were great! we had some great profile pics that fh doesn't like b/c he doesn't like his profile!!

I am having Dom and Geraldine- they are the team that shot Sasha's (Somethingblu's) GORGEOUS pics (that I NEVER tire of seeing )
John is Dom's brother (pretty sure that's his name  ) and he does awesome work too. you can't really go wrong...but if you want really photojournalistic, find out if Geraldine is available.

honestly I wouldn't sweat it...they all seem to have so much talent as to be interchangable, which is what you want in any event, b/c Lord knows what can happen bet. now and then.
I never even specified who I wanted, Dom made up the schedule...I found out kind of as an afterthought.

Yes, Dom's brother is Mike! He's doing our wedding too, along with Viki. We were in yesterday for our engagement pics, guess we missed you though. We'd planned on doing them outside but THAT obviously didn't happen!

Thanks - I forgot his name and I was talking to him for awhile... They did just mention that they had a couple in the studio! How funny, I must of just missed you. I was there at 6:00pm! Did you see vicki's work at all? I have Mike and Gabe but would love to do pictures while I'm getting dressed and I may feel more comfortable with a woman... But I will probably just stay with Mike & Gabe.

Yep, we probably left at about 5:45 - funny! You know, I can't remember now if we saw any of Viki's photos... maybe some that they happened to be working on on the computer? We just went ahead and booked her with Mike to have the 2nd photographer.

HI, I don't have the contract in front of me, but I am getting two photogs (one half time, one all day...like 9 hrs or so) for $2200 (round number) plus the on location epics, proofs, and dvd.

Hi girls... I have a good update!!!
Just as an update, I told FH that Dom was already booked for our day and Mike & Gabe would shoot our wedding. Just some backround - FH is in the video industry so he knows exactly what to look for. Anyway... he wanted to see their work. I e-mailed 12th night to see if they could compile their work on a DVD so FH can review. They got back to me WITHIN AN HOUR to let me know that the two of them just shot a wedding together and if it I wanted to wait a couple of weeks, they would be happy to give me a copy of their work! They were like "this way you can even see how they work together." I am SO excited we booked them... what GREAT service!

I took my e pics yesterday with Dom and what an amazing photographer he is!! I mean GEEZ!!!! He is great AND i got some of my "proofs" the same day and I ran to eckerds to print them out!! I say some because we had a minor techinal difficulty with the chip and he will be seding me the rest (like 50 of them) next week but he took a few more because he wanted me to have something to take home!! HE IS GREAT!!!! LOVE LOVE 12th night!

I don't really post on LIW, but I did use 12th night, so I wanted to share with you guys. I absolutely Love, Love, Love, did I say Love enought LOL, my pics. Dom and Mike did an excellent job. I sent the pics to almost everyone I know and some of my friends want to get married just to book with them.
