tips for people at the catering hall

Who are you tipping? I will have a banquet manager, a maitre de, a bridal attendant and then the wait staff. We were told that if we tip the maitre de that the wait staff does see some of it, so I'm not necessarily think we need to tip them separately. Do I need to tip the BM, MD, and BA??

I need to start saving money for tips!

Matre d'
Hostess
Waitstaff
Bartenders
Chefs

We tipped:
Matre d' - $525 ($3 pp)

Hostess - $75

Waitstaff - $50 each

Bartenders - $50 each

Chefs - $50 each

In the final worksheet it said tipps to the BM were appreciated. I honestly didn't feel the BM should get a tip however my father felt that she did a lot of work to make the day go smoothly and gave her $100
