starting to get REALLY nervous re: guestlist
ok, so we bit the bullet and invited our entire guest list, rather than putting 15 people on a "b" list.... so we have about 290. so far, a week and a half after the invites went out.... we have about 85 yesses and 10 no's. we cannot fit more than 265 in our room at the hall we were really banking on that 20% decline.... or at LEAST 15%.... now i am freaking out!!! please tell me the no's will come!!!!!!!!!!

We invited about 290 and we're having 235. Most of the people who respond right away tend to be "yes" and the "no" responses tend to come later on. You only need 15 more no responses and you'll be fine. Are there people who you don't think will come? We sent out a bunch of invites to relatives out of state whom we knew wouldn't come. I'm sure everything will work out.

that is the thing.... we dont have many oot guests, and of those we do, about 95% are guaranteed yesses. I would kill for 235!!!! of all our no's that we received thus far, only 1 person was a surprise!

Sorry! I was just so worried about mine being too many! I think you'll be fine though. I know it's easy to say don't sweat it but I'm sure it'll be fine at the end.

I got all my yess first
the no's took much long (even pass the rsvp date )
out of my family people with thought were definate ended up being no's
a few even gave the "cold weather" as a enxcuse (which i find ironic becaue it ended up being rather warm)

In the end..the most we will have respond no will probably be about 6....

The no's will come at the end. I was worried too and I wound up with a lot less than expected. We invited 250, expected 210, and we wound up with 182. About a 28% decline rate.
