We talk about it sometimes -

boy - Jackson

(we were both born in Jackson Heights, NY and we met there when I moved back 29 years later - now we live in Long Island City - subway stop is Vernon Jackson - so there's always been a Jackson in our relationship - plus we like the name.

girl - I like Genevieve - I dont think he likes it too much, but I plan on breaking him down.

he likes: Taylor and Paige. I like Taylor - I had a student named Paige and she was not the best student so now I dont like the name.

for a girl I like Emma & Chloe (he liked them too)

I don't have any names for boys though. we couldn't agree on anything

ETA: I just asked FH what he likes for a boys name and he said Charles (after his late father). You know....... I suggested that as a boys name a LOOOOOONG time ago and he said he didn't want to do that! men!

- Katherine Victoria (named after my Mom & Grandma) we'd call her Katie.

- He wants our son to be named after him...Richard Henry...but this would make him "the third" and that is so stuffy to me...not to mention the PITA with making sure he uses III...FH has sooo many problems with his Dad being Sr. & him being Jr...

ETA: Oh yeah...I forgot to mention...FH jokes around (I hope) that he would call him...ugh.."The Turd" aka "The lil' $hit"

I love Nataniel Robert. I would love to call my little guy Natie...but then I thought how much my kids would hate me...Natie & Katie...

After MUCH discussion, we both agreed on names actually.

1st girl: Alexia Beth (my sister is Elizabeth and I thought it was a cool weird twist)

2nd girl: Adrianna Christina (his sister is Christina)

1st boy: Joseph Carmine (his name is Carmine Joseph and he is a jr. We didn't want a III so we reversed the name. And, my favorite grandpa was Joseph so it just works for us.)

We never came up with a second boys name, guess we don't plan on having one
