Hair do that would look best with my dress?
Hi girls,
I am deciding between all up or half up...I am really torn, and I don't know which to do. I will be having my first hair trial in a few weeks. Every time I wear my hair "half-up" my FH says it looks like I have a mullet (thanks), and I obviously want to look attractive to him the day-of, so maybe I should just go all-up...
Anyway, here is a pic of my dress - since the back is so open, should I definitely do all-up, or would it look good with half-up to? I have long hair.

Gorgeous DRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would you mind posting a pic of yourself?
Sometimes it helps to know what shape head a person has!
I have a very round head, and pulling my hair back all the way, I look BALD!

Re: Hair do that would look best with my dress?
I think either style will look good with your dress. If you like your hair all up, I say go for that. The back of your dress is very pretty, you should show it off.
It's a tough decision, I know.

my vote is for all up, so you can show off the back of your dress. If you hair is long it will get covered up.

Here is an e pic of FH and I, so you know what I look like. I have curly hair, so getting it in an up-do should be interesting :)

Beautiful dress!
I'd say down. Your hair doesn't look long enough to cover up the gorgeous detailing in the back!

Re: Hair do that would look best with my dress?
a Very simple "up do" - well, quasi - up-do...a lower bun, but loose, and keeping it curly and having a few curls fall very slightly in the back and on the sides.
I guess very "Victorian"
if it makes any sense!

yes, I know exactly what you mean - I was thinking of doing something "loose" with curls...for the romantic look - also, the place I am getting married (Capitale) has a Victorian feel to it too -thanks for the suggestion!

I agree with Christine- you want it all up, not only to showcase the detailing in the back, but also to show the drama of the low back....that's the best part- your skin and your back. that's what gives it such sex appeal, IMHO

Re: Hair do that would look best with my dress?
I would do half up. You have beautiful hair and IMO, when I wear a strapless top, or low back shirt, I usually wear my hair down, so I don't feel so naked. But either way will be gorgeous!

Me too! I was trying to find a picture of the bac, but no luck...but I don't think it's too hard to duplicate. It's so soft and romantic!

I'm so glad I was able to translate the image in my head clearly enough for others to understand!
Something like Sandra's will be perfect!!!!
Good Luck, and keep us posted!
Also, your dress' fabric has a bit of a victorian theme to it...so it'll go so well with your venue!!!!
