NWR - GAS PRICES

I just got back from looking at my wedding dress & dropped my mom off in Selden and regular 87 Gas is $3.39 on Middle Country Road! OMG - unbelievable.
Super is $3.69

I found one by house for $2.75 but by the morning it is going up at least .30 to .50 cents.

Go fill up those tanks before morning!

Wow--I pd either 2.89 ot 2.99 earlier today in Commack for full serve. It came to about $35 bucks. Once upon a time, I filled my car for about $20.

They said that the cheapest anyone will find gas will be $3.00 and that's if you're lucky!!

Apparently this is happening everywhere in the country.....it seems the longer we're in this war, the higher the gas prices go!! Gee, I wonder why??

Yep, I filled up on Monday because I knew with the Hurricane (that's why we have this latest hike) it was going to go skyhigh.

THE LINES WERE INSANE LAST NIGHT....they said the prices could go up to $4.00 a gallon...time to trade the car in for a bicycle.

FH & I just said that we should take our bikes out!!!! Luckily I only have a 6 mile round trip commute to work! Still I don't go anywhere after work because it is insane what the prices are! But then again, we all have no choice but to pay them!

Re: NWR - GAS PRICES

I still have half a tank, I'm afraid to go anywhere bc I don't want to go back to the gas station. I'm so glad I have a short commute to work, I couldn't imagine a long drive with these prices!!!!!! I heard regular self serve is $3.41, I saw $3.19 at Rt.111. This is insane!!!!

Re: NWR - GAS PRICES

I know these prices are so high and they said they are gonna go higher cuz of Katrina. She is destraying some of the oil fields and those machines they were showing it on the news this morning. I can't believe I have to pay $40 to fill up my 6 cylinder car and back in the day I had an 8 cylinder and it would only cost me like $20 boy those days were a hell of alot simpler

My mom is calling sentors and stuff! She wants us all to strike Sunco, Exon, and moble, forcing them to lower their gas prices.
