colors for sept wedding
I am not sure what colors to choose for my wedding. I am thinking pink and green but is that too light for sept 30th? Any other suggestions? I am not into red or oranges. TIA!

Well it is your wedding, so do what you want, I however wouldn't do light colors. I would go with a dark pink and green because it is so close to fall. Also blue is a color you can use all yr long, and dark blue would be very nice that time of yr. Talk to your florest and dress maker.

Wendy, Not until I was out this weekend did I realize how much I love brown and pink! I agree with everyone that it's your day and all  But I just wanted to give you a suggestion!
Oh and BTW, I love pink and green too, it's not too light if you don't get a reallly light pink!

I am going for mostly white flowers, with lots of green and yellow hues...my BMs are wearing champagne colored dresses. Since we're getting married right before Labor Day, we're still technically in the summer season...in September, you still have the option and are safe going with whatever colors your choose...hth

I know my sister likes pink and brown but I feel like like some many weddings I've been to have those colors and also brown won't look nice on my sisters and pink might be ok.

I'm not into the fall colors either. And we are technically only a few days into fall

Green and pink is definitely not too light, especially if you did an apple green and a strong pink. But this is your wedding, use the colors you love.

I am doing shades of pink. I wasn' t sure either what colors for September. I am right at the end of the summer but you should pick whatever color you like. That's what I decided.

You could do gold, champagne, hunter green, copper, cinnamon, navy, brown, black, maize, bronze, mauve, purple.....you have a lot of options!!
You can do pink, maybe in a dark rose or victorian lilac shade.

It's your day do whatever you want! I am having a spring wedding and doing merlot dresses! I do not see why you cant have a fall wedding with lighter color dresses. I really do not think people will mention the color of you girls' dresses, afterall the day is really about you and FH!
