I want to book a hall this week
I am going to call a few places this week and see if I can stop by. Do they usually let you just stop by or do they schedule you in far in advance?I want to book before school starts.
Also, does anyone have that list to ask catering halls before booking? Thanks!

Most places want you to make an appointment first. It took me two months to visit 20 halls. I am so impressed that you are going to book in a week. Good luck!

Depends...some places you can call and they say come now...others need definite appointment atleast a day in advance. We tried to schedule all the ones that were some what close to each other in the same day..made it easier

You also do not need an appointment at Fox Hollow in Woodbury.

you do need appointment for harrison house, bourne mansion, oheka, glen island. just a few i can remember off the top of my head.
dont need appointment for westbury manor, fountainhead, swan club, floral terrace, flowerfield.

I visited 13 halls in 8 days.... even one on my birthday (we just stayed and had dinner there). Hit a bunch on the weekends. It will work out.
